Healthy Mountain Communities

 State of the Valley Symposium

May 2, 2003
Hotel Colorado, Glenwood Springs

The State of the Valley Symposium is a forum to explore the health and wealth of the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valleys.  What are the future trends in real estate and tourism?  Are we building a sustainable economy with the necessary support services?  Will community design issues be a factor as we compete in a global economy?  Are we positioning ourselves to be competitive "out there," and supportive of each other "at home," in the near and longer term?

The event is a chance to as we hear from nationally known presenters and local leaders on competitiveness, sustainability, shifting trends and the role of the local social and physical infrastructure in our shared economic future.
